About the Author
Nancy Kline is President of Time To Think, an international leadership development and coaching company. She is also a published author and public speaker. Nancy created and pioneered the development of the theory and process called The Thinking Environment(R). This model allows people to turn their teams, organisations and relationships into Thinking Environments in which people at every level can think for themselves, with rigour, imagination and courage. The process increases the quality of thinking in, and thus of concrete results from, all human interactions, both in pairs and in groups, and decreases the amount of time it takes to achieve them. Time To Think began in 1984 and grew out of Nancy's consulting and teaching work near Washington, DC, where she had served as a Founding Director of The Thornton Friends School for twelve years and as Director of The Leadership Institute for six years. She is a Fellow of Ashridge College, UK Nancy was born and raised in New Mexico and lives in England with her husband Christopher Spence.

One of the most important works I have ever read!
I was given Nancy's book a few years ago by a good friend, and immediately upon reading it, I knew it would change my life. Since then, its value has continued to soar in my work and my life.
I'm an attorney and CFP, and I teach financial advisors and attorneys how to work with their clients as whole people, not just a pile of assets or a set of legal issues. Time to Think is required reading in all our programs at SunBridge, and has done more than any other thing I've given my professional colleagues to help them learn how to find the best answers for their clients--by listening with resspect and attention, and creating an environment in which the clients can do their best thinking.
My recommendation is that while you're ordering a copy for yourself, you order a few extras, because you're going to want to give a copy to all your friends, it's that good. This is absolutely a must read!

Time to Think by Nancy Kline
I was part of a group who used Kline's method; the Listening Environment. I ordered the book that day. I'm an Alzhiemer coach and felt it would benefit my listening to those with Alzheimer's. It does. The book is clearly written and with compassion. I would recommend this book for anyone seeking to improve relationship with their family member, friend or professional partner/client.
